The NGH Choir were delighted to be invited back to perform at Symphony House Care Home on Tuesday 6th March. The home itself is a particularly fond place for a member of the choir, Cathy, whose relative is a resident here. A cosy and friendly place, we had been looking forward to returning!

We sang a programme of songs to the residents including some new pieces such as 'Someone to Watch Over Me' and 'From A Distance'. All of which were met with hearty applauds and demands for an encore. The evening was also broken up by some singing from our Musical Director upon request, and also some accordion playing from Kay including the infamous Dam Busters March... who doesn't want to hear that on the accordion?

After our singing we were offered a wonderfully lavish buffet which was absolutely fabulous. It was so wonderful to have the opportunity to share our music making with the residents of Symphony House! Thank you for having us.
