NGH Choir at Songs of Praise 2017

On Sunday 6th August the Choir were delighted to participate in the recording of Songs of Praise from All Saints Church, Northampton. A special commemorative edition looking at Princess Diana whose birthplace was in fact Northampton's very own Althorp House. This was a unique opportunity for the choir to join other local Northamptonshire musicians and show the country what a fantastically rich choral tradition we have in this county.

Excited, the choir arrived in their formal dresses and suits ready to sing in the beautiful location of All Saints Church, right in the centre of the town. Sat towards the back of the church, the choir rehearsed the hymns including the gorgeous Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace and before we knew it the red button was on and we were recording. The night flew past with the hustle and bustle and excitement of singing with musicians from across the county.
